
Dr Stuart Naughten Psychology
Welcome to my psychology private practice, running since 2009.
​
I currently do in-person and remote sessions (various platforms) with adults, children, couples and groups as a registered psychologist and member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc.
​
I am an AHPRA board approved supervisor.
I am an Associate and part of the Advisory Committee of The Hart Centre relationship counselling group and have designed a comprehensive and practical non-denominational pre-marital counselling program detailed on the Relationship Counselling page.
​
I also offer counselling in association with Medicare, the National Disability Insurance Scheme, Employee Assistance Programs, the Victims of Crime Tribunal, the Transport Accident Commission, the Department of Veterans Affairs and WorkSafe.
​
My academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts (Australian National University), a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology (University of Melbourne) and a Professional Doctorate in Psychology (Counselling Psychology) (La Trobe University).
​
My doctoral thesis was: A Phenomenological Investigation of the Experience of a Mindfulness Program for a Non-Clinical Population.
